Can you install Windows XP Mode in Windows 7
First of all you need a genuine Windows 7 Ultimate or Professional version. Then you need to make sure your processor is capable of hardware-assisted virtualization with AMD-V, Intel VT or VIA VT turned on in the BIOS.
OK, ok all this does not mean anything for you? Don’t worry.
There is a tool to check if your Processor supports hardware virtualization. If the computer is configured with hardware-assisted virtualization, only then you can go on and install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode.
