How to find Keywords and Article Slugs

When using the YORGOO keyword Analyzer you may want to follow a few simple rules and steps for best results.

If you were to write a blog about Childhood obesity, then start with a search on the big keyword "Obesity". This will give you an overview about where the traffic is and how many competitors you will have to face per keyword.

Obesity

We see that there are a few related key-phrases as well as some near-by sub-niches which may be interesting to add because of their traffic.

In view of the low traffic levels I would select:

Primary Key-word: Obesity
Secondary Key-word: Childhood obesity

For my Category Slugs I would choose:

  • Childhood Obesity
  • Causes of Obesity
  • Obesity Statistics
  • Child Obesity
  • Obesity in America
  • Obesity in Children

In order to find the right Article Slugs, we now drill down on the Category keywords by entering them as main keyword into our YORGOO Keyword Analyzer. For example: "Childhood Obesity":

For our Category: Childhood Obesity we get now a list of related keywords and phrases I would use as Article slugs.

Proceed with every category slug in the same way and you get for every category 100 topics to write about…that should keep you busy for a while :-).
